Bauer Vapor 3X Pro Intermediate Hockey Gloves

Alongside the Hyperlite, Bauer is also rolling out their second price point: the Vapor 3X Pro for the 2022 season. This iteration features various high-end tech, including Hyperlite HD foam, a Pro Lite Tex shell, an ivory pro palm, and a poly mesh exterior.

External Material
The Vapor 3X Pro gloves are covered over the exterior in poly mesh, which is a standard choice for gloves because of its cut resistance and durability. It also has strong moisture-wicking capabilities, which can help keep you dry while you play. The Pro Lite Tex shell further enhances glove durability and hand protection as the first line of defense.

Finger Design & Protection
The gloves are equipped with dual-density foam and PE shield inserts in the fingers, in addition to a three-piece index finger design. The three-piece design helps enhance flexibility in that finger, allowing for more overall freedom when stickhandling.

Backhand Protection
The backhand is protected by dual-density foam, Hyperlite HD foam, and PE inserts. The combination of these foams and plastics keeps the gloves both light and optimally protective against shots and impact.

Thumb Design
The gloves use a simple, two-piece molded Flex thumb, complete with standard foam and plastic inserts. The two-piece design allows for good maneuverability while keeping your thumb in place. Beyond permitting excellent mobility, it also keeps your thumb from hyperextending, which could otherwise cause injury.

Cuff Design
The molded cuff roll has an open design, which offers superior wrist movement. The resulting effect is a cuff that lets you get that extra snap on the puck while providing ultimate protection from slashes and shots.

Palm Material & Gussets
The 3X Pro glove uses a classic ivory pro palm with a full overlay. This construction offers the wearer maximum comfort and a familiar feel in addition to having some extra durability. Making this area of the glove more durable has been a major focus in modern times as more and more hockey sticks are being developed with more grip. The comfort stretch gussets also help keep the fingers malleable enough to move with you and your game.
Liner

The liner in the 3X Pro is the same combination of liners that we’ve seen before in the previous Vapor 2X series: Hypersense and Thermomax+. Hypersense is located in the fingers and provides that desired game-ready feel; Thermomax+ in the backhand area keeps your hands fresher and cooler all game long with its odour and moisture-managing properties.

The Bauer Vapor 3X Pro Intermediate Hockey Glove comes in sizes 12” and 13” in the following colourways: Black/White, Black/Red, Navy, Navy/Red/White, and Red.
